Body plugs
Some body restoration work was completed on the rear fenders of my 1986 Volvo 240 DL Wagon The fender body plugs were not installed, and inquiring if someone has a source for these.

decent mileage, old but still quality is still seen in certain aspects of the car.
a turbo would greatly help the engine perfomance. though the rear wheel drive is a definate plus for this car. Manual transmission would make it even more exciting.Aug 24, 2010

I have love this car, first car i owned got form mom. 280,000 crashed getting new one just newer, volvo for life , at least before 1999, then ford owns it, and they went down hill. i would recomed to any oneMar 09, 2010

its a volvo 240, its built like a tank. Its slow but it has a timeless look to it. parts are cheap and eazy to install. its kinda fun to drive it dosent have mutch power. this car is awesome.Dec 10, 2009

Acceleration- its a '88 Volvo
Braking- ...well I had to use the hand brake (anytime I wanted to stop)
Handling- I got where I was going
Build- its really a Truck
Appearances- It was surpisingly well kept
I can't even memba what gas cost back then but I didn't pay, I wasn't legal so whoever was driving wid me bought gas to compensate me for my risk taking.

Big square box! Totally reliable with 150k miles. Great gas mileage, next to nothing to own. Owned for 3 years, all I have ever done is basic maintenance and recharge the A/C. Also a muffler blew out sounded great - welded up now quiet againJan 24, 2009

I got this car from my mom. Its a big blue tank. Sure it is not the most beautiful car on the road, but its solid and has less 130,000km on it event though it is older than I am. I just did some rust control so it Should last forever.Sep 22, 2008

Very very reliable car, with alot of room, if there is more than 2 persons in the
car.

Okay, so we only paid $100 for it - and we've gone through roughly 3x that amount in parts in repair, its still a decent little tug boat. If it would survive the Coquilhalla freeway - we'd take it ice racing in a heartbeat.Jan 28, 2008

This model shares a light bulb (rightmost and leftmost) for position and brake lights. bought the recommended size (US 1157) When depressing brake pedal, malfunctioning bulb warning light comes on: - during day light, it looks like the second position light comes on, not the brake light, since it is dimmer. - during night when turning the positions on, the brake lights come on, light is much brighter then position light Suspecting a miss-wired connection somewhere but don't know where to look?! Thx

I have a 1986 Volvo DL that will not turn over, has power and battery.
When I went to move my Volvo out of the driveway, it had run within two weeks prior. Fully charged battery, but will not turn over, could this be a simple switch? no action with key, other than powers up.
