Why will my 81 cj5 only go into gear when not running?
Jeep ran fine before we replaced the engine. Engine now runs fine but when the guys backed it out of the garage to take for a test drive it somehow got turned off (I don't remember if it shut off or they shut it off). But now it goes nowhere due to the jeep won't go into gear while the vehicle is running but will when it is not running. Help! I need my jeep running by Thursday!
