the truck is strong built and will run for ever if you up keep on mantanance there are reliabe and easy to work on and easy to learn on. the truck is enjoyable to drive but the down fall is that they are old and the gas mileage sucks.. but there still a blastOct 23, 2010

Wrecker front bumper from a '64 Chevy wrecker, want to swap out the 350 cid gas for an in-line 6 diesel, gona swap out the 36.5x14x16.5 rubber and go to 40s. snorkel kit and a small 3 inch block lift in back and a 5-7 inch swing shackle in front.Oct 30, 2009

itl go through some haggard backwoods crap, has a creeper gear, capable of fully taking down trees, solid steel front and rear bumpers, 350 with a 4spd, burnout king hickass, has a 14 bolt rear end, 3/4 ton springs, good for crusin dirt roads at night, dimmer switch on the floorAug 24, 2008

just rebuilt the 350 for it but the body mounts were gone so i sold itMar 20, 2008

350 has no power
I have a 1974 chevy c20 with a 350. The truck starts great, revs great, even goes down the road great with no miss. Problem is its got no power, even going up a moderate hill you have to floor it and still loose speed. Its got new plugs, new plug wires, a new hei distributor. What can cause the lack of power?

My truck will start right up, go about 50 yards and quit. I can let it set for a couple minutes and it will run fine. Or sometimes I have to loosen gas line to carb, let pressure off before it will start.
