The car is a classic. It's has the origional reciept and a dvd of the manual . It is a push start car with a diesel engine and perfect to convert to run on veggie oil. Owner just doesn't have enough time to give this gal enough attention to get it there.Nov 15, 2012

Well what can I say. Dit is tog immers Levinja Kapoenkoets!! Need I say More. Performace: Is veru acceptable after 36 years of wear and tear. besides she was made to cruise sedately in not break landspeed records. Build quality: built like a tank and steers like Boeing, but I love her none the less Aug 27, 2009

WOW! This is an amazing car! It has a interesting past, being owned by two college professors! The outside is the absolute best part of the car. Chrome Galore! In the past it was painted a light blue, but it was repainted to the midnight blue! Good pick i say. The car has the original warranty ticket in German. Even has AC! The interior dash has wood. Auto Windows. Leather Seats. Has around 160 HP i would suppose. No Power Brakes. Awesome horn, European.Have to put in the expensive gas though. Good running classic. Also for sale!Jul 18, 2008

can power steering be put on my car

I'm new to the old Mercedes game. I purchased a 220d with AC and manual steering for my wife who's admired these cars for a long time. I found a complet power steering unit online.( pump, power steering gear box, pulls, pump bracket and hoses. Are there any other concerns I should be aware of before I start the conversion?

i have a 1972 mercedes benz model 220 with the engine W115. Just completed a valve job on the head and reinstalled. Am struggling with making the timing match up between camshaft, crankshaft, and rotor distributor. I am getting a spark in the plugs and the engine does pop but will not idle.How can i line up the camshaft, crankshaft, and distribuotr rotor properly?
