WOW!!! It s by complete chance that I was watching TV and saw a commercial for CarGurus! I had been searching for a used Mini Cooper for MONTHS; and between three
local (and one very distant) Mini Cooper dealers, I couldnât find what I wanted. I gave CarGurus a shot; and there was Manchester Motors. I had never even heard of
Manchester, Maryland; but Iâm so happy I looked. They had exactly the Mini Cooper I wanted that several Mini Cooper dealers and other dealerships did not. And Manchester
Motors ⦠DOUBLE WOW!!!! Lots of businesses say they do not B.S.; but Manchester Motors is serious! It was a straight-up deal. Kenny Swedo is a FANTASTIC sales
representative. He values client relations. He knew I didnât have time to mess around; and he got me in and out in a flash â no hassle; no silly âI have to talk to my managerâ or
âThere are a lot of people looking at this model, so do not waitâ sales games or pressure. Kenny is GREAT; and I am a VERY Happy Customer!
Dealer made a comment about fraud. He said I couldn’t buy I car because my license state had to match my current residence. I brought 2 cars and never heard such nonsense. I never had any fraudulent activity in my life. I believe he was racial profiling and it made me cringe. I ended up buying a better car, at a better price, at another dealership that made me feel welcomed.
Sales Manager was Crooked, Disrespected and Gamed the Customer
Recently, I was interested in a 2020 Subaru Ascent Touring in this shop, advertised for 33.5k (I still have a
screenshot). The first time I went there for a test drive, the sales manager and I had some discussion and
the shop offered a selling price of 33.2k. I did not take it.
A few days later, I exchanged emails with the business manager (a different person), asking for a discount to
make the price to be 33k even. The business manager said he needed a few weeks to consider.
Then, I thought maybe it would be better to have a face to face discussion, so I went to the shop again. The
sales manager met me and showed me the price proposal. To my surprise, it said the price was 33.6k, not
33.2k which was offered in my first visit.
I asked why. The sales manager said that 33.2k had been offered the other day and I had not taken it so it
was no longer effective and the new price was 33.6k.
I was furious and said I would not buy

Though this dealership was out of my location, the Agent who responded to my inquiry was pleasant. He also understood that after I realized the location was much further away than I initially thought, I would not be traveling there.

Manchester Motors was awesome. 12/10. I live in Anne Arundel county and made the drive after speaking with Nate the sales manager. He was very friendly and said they’d be more than willing to help out with my trade-in and purchase. I went to look at the 2015 and ended up getting a 2020 for a great price. All my needs were met and the staff was more than accommodating and friendly. Worth every bit of an hour drive. Thanks again guys.

Emailed about a car. I am on the other side of the country. I wanted to get some details about the car (rust belt dealership) and they weren't very helpful in providing the information I was looking for. Instead they only asked when I was coming down to look at it. Unfortunately they are the only place that had the car in the color I wanted despite being over 12 years old and worth under 10k.

I contacted them because the radio didn’t work, the rear wiper blade was stuck and there is a rumbling sound in the transmission. They fixed the wiper blade and are installing a new radio next Monday. They will also be checking out the sound in the transmission. So far so good. But they also told me that they will fix whatever is wrong.

Most dealerships are only about making the sale. This dealership is only about making the customer happy. I have
never been to a place that cared so much about the customer's happiness and satisfaction than they were about
making their sale and quota. They did everything they could in their power to make sure I was 100% satisfied with
every outcome of my dealings with them to the very end. They were quick to respond, called back right away when I
had concerns and were very genuine. I highly recommend them and would definitely go back to their dealership
when in the market for a used car. They're inventory may be limited due to their size, and they may be out of the
way for most, but their customer service is worth the trip if they have what you're looking for.

They were first choice in my search until a very close model appeared 200 miles closer. Howard Insley was a great

Vehicle was on CarGuru for over 60 days but when contacted it mysteriously had sold! Decoy? Dealer then offered other vehicles that did not meet what we were looking for.
I was contacted very promptly, which was impressive, but the very next day the car I was interested in was sold. After receiving the email the car was sold, I was no longer interested in speaking with them, yet I got an automated email from one of their sales members almost everyday to “discuss my options”. I would have been more interested in speaking with them if I didn’t receive these daily “I’ll only take a brief moment of your time” emails. Felt way to hassled, even though we never even spoke in person.

Mixed bag. The salesman, Randy, who responded to my contact was great! But the rest of the experience was mixed, at best. I needed a car urgently, so drove 2 hrs to see the car arriving after dark. In the parking lot under the lights it looked good. I took the seller's word, with a Carfax to back it up, that the car had never been wrecked and bought it on the spot for an average price. Imagine my surprise when I discovered 3 days later looking under the car that the Entire Front End had been very recently replaced--and it was a sloppy job with pait overspray and missing body bastners all over the place. There is no way that a competent and respectable dealer could not have known about this. To top it off, they took 3 weeks to finally send me the title info so I could get plates. I'm not saying you shouldn't buy a car there, I'm just saying that you should be very careful with them. Very careful. Never buy a car at night.
