When I first drove my Ibiza 1.2GL System Porsche I immediately asked the salesman what the System Porsche meant. He said "Well I won't lie to you. It means a man who worked on Porsche electrical systems designed the electrics. That's all." And then I put my foot down. Blimey! For a 1.2 it was very nippy. But what became clearer as I owned it and drove it like a man in his early 20s was that it handled amazingly. And it was rugged too! Add in the fact it was really easy to work on, and for a cheapster like me it was the perfect car. I ran it for 7 years and if I could find one in good condition I'd have another. Like a shot. A basic, fun, economic car.

Best car to have toddlers. You can store a lot in the boot for outings with kids.

Not the most involving car to drive, though it performed reasonably well, and handled well, if not spectacularly so. Was quite economical too. Felt very solid and well put together.
