Performance is OK, I drive 2 of these vans, identical except colour. The white one is rapid and you feel the turbo kick in and pull you out of bed, on the other hand the silver one is not as powerful but is still better than the older style transit. Build Quality - hey its ford, say no more. No really its not bad, I have not had any issues with it except its now needing the rear brake pads changed (rear went before front) Appearance - well they have thought of everything when designing the interior, there are 2 glove boxes on the top of the dash, one in-front of the passenger seat, with another open box above it, a paper tray between the 2 boxes on top of the dash which folds over to a tray and 2 cup holders. Taking of cup holders there are another 2, one either side of the dash at the windows and under them there are 2lt juice bottle holders either side. there are the usual wee small holes for pens etc. The seats are surprisingly comfortable with arm rests. I get aprox 340miles out a tank of Diesel which just cost me £74 to fill from the light on so not bad, its only £185 road tax because its commercial. I actually find it better to drive the van than the car, I guess more so because you are much higher up and can see more

Handling = car-like Brakes = Okay Acceleration = Don't go there Controls = Racing car like Build quality = Tractor-like, cheap and simple. Very poor corrosion protection. VERY reliable. Engines are bombproof and purely mechanical. Interior Styling = Car-like. Plasticky. Functional. Exterior Styling = Functional. Cheap to fix. Cost of Ownership = Parts VERY cheap. Very easy to fix. Parts in abundance. 30+ mpg. Fun Factor = Loads. Like driving a big go-kart, but in this one you get paid!

I like the vehicle and think it is a good value. I did my research and comparisons and test drove other brands and felt the Ford Transit cargo was the best, in quality, value, and payload. It also drove the best to me.
