The Dodge Omni is a compact car that has garnered mixed reviews from its owners across all model years. Many drivers enjoyed its fun and engaging driving experience, particularly in sportier variants like the GLH Turbo, which are known for their quick acceleration and agility. Owners often praised its impressive fuel economy and handling, noting it's a practical choice for city driving and weekend adventures. However, some critiques surfaced regarding the outdated features, basic interior quality, and minor reliability issues, especially as the car ages. Overall, the Omni is remembered fondly for its quirky character and nostalgic appeal, making it a unique choice for those seeking something different.

I liked the Canadian flag I had painted on the roof and it's unique character. It IS the road trip car! This was a Special Edition Expo - unlike other Omni's under the hood. It cornered exceptionally well and could take heaps of damage and keep on ticking. This beauty had a full spare and it usually slept off any issues. It is easily the best winter handling car I've driven but was a heavy car to push. The duct tape on the rear bumper and the Jolt Cola sticker on the side were classy. This car had it's own personality.

Amazingly, this was a better car than I expected. My wife bought it without my advice, but she got the best possible version. She picked a base model, with the bulletproof 2.2 engine, paired with the more reliable manual transmission. The car didn't weigh much so it had decent power, and the was reasonably fun to drive. Handling was good, and the small size was easy to park, but roomy inside. The hatchback design made the car very versatile. We got our money's worth out of this car.
