Used 2025 Genesis GV80 for Sale nearParkersburg, WV

How much does the 2025 Genesis GV80 cost?

Prices have softened 16.44% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,794 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2025 Genesis GV80 a good car?

The 2025 Genesis GV80 earns an 8/10 expert rating, and Genesis positions it as a stylish luxury SUV with a redesigned cabin and exterior, plus more sumptuous interior materials.

The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

It also brings wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, standard all-wheel drive, and a strong value angle versus European rivals. The trade-offs are that the seats are far from comfortable and the GV80 returns poor fuel economy.

With 38.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Genesis GV80 reliable?

The 2025 Genesis GV80 is presented as a strong contender in the luxury crossover space, and Genesis backs it with a 5 year/60,000 mile basic warranty and a 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain guarantee.

Its powertrain is described as unchanged for 2025, and the SUV is framed as a polished, upscale choice that should appeal if you want a traditional luxury crossover with modern technology. The expert notes also point to a quiet cabin and confident braking, which supports the sense that it should be easy to live with.

Genesis also says the GV80 gets a great warranty, which helps reduce ownership anxiety for used buyers. Long-term risk is still tied to the model’s poor fuel economy and the possibility that some desirable features may be missing on lower-priced examples.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Genesis GV80?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle’s equipment matches the trim you’re considering. A pre-purchase inspection is especially useful here because the GV80’s comfort, tech, and driver-assistance features can vary by trim. Focus on interior condition, since the cabin materials are a major part of the appeal and the seats are a known weak point.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Standard trim gives you the core luxury-SUV experience, but the higher trims add features like the Genesis digital key, remote smart parking, and a 360-degree camera system. If you want the best value, look closely at the AWD trim because it restores some deleted features.
• Powertrain: The GV80 comes with a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder or a twin-turbocharged six-cylinder. The four-cylinder is rated at 19 mpg city, 24 mpg highway and 21 mpg combined, while the six-cylinder returns 16/22/19.
• Safety package: Every GV80 gets lane keeping assist, forward collision avoidance, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Highway Drive Assist with an attention monitor. Upper trims add remote smart parking and a 360-degree camera system.
• Infotainment: All trims get a 27-inch OLED screen with a digital gauge cluster and infotainment system, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot and four USB-C ports are standard, while the Genesis digital key requires a higher trim.
• Fuel efficiency: The GV80 is thirsty, with the four-cylinder rated at 19 mpg city, 24 mpg highway and 21 mpg combined, and the six-cylinder at 16/22/19.

Which 2025 Genesis GV80 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Genesis GV80 is offered in 5 trim levels: Standard, AWD, Select, Advance and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point, and it gives you the GV80’s core luxury feel, standard all-wheel drive, and the 27-inch OLED display with wireless smartphone integration. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and can live without the extra convenience features.
• AWD: This is the best-value trim because it restores features Genesis deleted from the lower-priced setup, including a heated steering wheel, digital key and spare tire. If you want the smartest balance of price and equipment, start here.
• Select: This trim is the next step up if you want more equipment without jumping all the way to the upper luxury trims. It’s the middle-ground choice for shoppers who want a richer feature set but still care about value.
• Advance: This is where the larger twin-turbo six-cylinder becomes available, along with more of the GV80’s upscale content. Choose it if you want stronger performance and a more premium experience.
• Prestige: This is the top trim, and it’s the one to buy if you want the most luxurious version of the GV80 with the fullest equipment list. It suits you best if you want the richest cabin and don’t mind paying for it.

Upper trims add features like remote smart parking and a 360-degree camera system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Genesis GV80?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you have room to shop carefully without waiting for a dramatic bargain.

• Deal availability: 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,794 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.44% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $49,847, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Genesis GV80's resale value?

The current average of $49,856 sits slightly below last year's $59,668.

That drop suggests the GV80 has become more attractive on the used market, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, the softer pricing means you should expect more competition when it’s time to resell. The upside is that a well-kept example with desirable equipment may still stand out if you price it carefully.

Is the 2025 Genesis GV80 safe?

The 2025 Genesis GV80 has not yet been rated by IIHS or NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Every GV80 gets lane keeping assist, forward collision avoidance, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Genesis’ Highway Drive Assist with an attention monitor. Upper trims add remote smart parking and a 360-degree camera system, and the blind view monitor can show a video feed of the SUV’s blind spot in the digital cluster when you signal.

One caveat is that the driver-assist settings take a few taps to adjust, which can be inconvenient if you want to quickly disable lane keeping assist.

Should I buy a 2025 Genesis GV80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.44% compared with last year.
• The 2025 update adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a redesigned cabin and exterior.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $45,245, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $49,856 average.
• It offers a polished, stylish luxury crossover feel with modern technology.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the updated styling, improved tech, and stronger shopping conditions. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the smarter value play because it delivers much of the same core experience for less.
