Old school cool that is modern. It looks the part and rides beautifully and is comfortable with modern touches. Compared to Camaro- doesnt look close enough to 60s and Mustang- questionable engines.
Fantastic vehicle with large trunk, but difficult to use the backseat, particularly with a baby seat.
If you’re buying a car for performance, then this car is perfect. It’s an American car so don’t expect much for the interior. Take care of the car and it’ll take care of you. Smiles per gallon baby :)
I have a Destroyer Gray Shakedown with the automatic transmission and 392 engine. Power is very good and transmission shifts very smoothly. Features I would have liked include the Harmon Kardon stereo and rear performance spoiler. Graphics look good and I really like the shaker hood but is missing the 392 HEMI emblem. Hood pins are a nice touch. This is one of 500 made and should have included a plaque showing the sequence number on the dash. No sunroof but I prefer it without it. If it was available as an option, I would not have wanted it. If I had a choice of color, I would have chosen the Triple Nickel paint. Too many cheap looking stickers on the car: should have been raised emblems instead. For the price, I consider it a good value but not great. Since it is a “Last Call” model, it may generate some interest on the market as a used vehicle a few years from now. New ones still on the lot are being offered several thousand dollars less than MSRP. Low mileage examples may not depreciate too badly down the road, but this is a nice car to enjoy. Comparable models would be the Mustang, Camaro or Corvette. Another Challenger I would consider is one painted Triple Nickel with the Shaker Hood, graphics and the Harmon Kardon stereo with an MSRP $20,000 less. Granted, it’s not a Special Edition Shakedown model but represents a a good value as a new car. But it is a “Last Call” model.
