Overview

In 2019, Audi entered the electric vehicle (EV) passenger-car fray with the e-tron electric crossover. It was to be the first of a lineup of electric cars and SUVs bearing the e-tron name. The e-tron GT joined the e-tron in 2022 as a low-slung fastback performance sedan, and the 2023 Audi e-tron GT already receives some changes in its sophomore year. The dark grille has been replaced with a body-color one, and a second charging port has been added, this one on the passenger side.
The e-tron GT is based on the same platform as the Porsche Taycan. It has a sharply raked sportback design that provides only 9.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. There is also a frunk (front trunk) that provides an additional 1.8 cubic feet.
Trims for the e-tron GT are Premium Plus and Prestige. The Premium Plus features newly standard 20-inch all-season tires and a Bang & Olufsen premium stereo system. These features join previously standard equipment such as three-zone climate control, heated and power-adjustable sport front seats, a panoramic sunroof, synthetic leather upholstery, and wireless device charging. The e-tron GT also comes with a dual-screen center console. The lower screen operates vehicle functions and settings while the upper screen features the infotainment system, which supports Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay.
Moving up to the Prestige trim adds heated rear seats and a head-up display. Leather upholstery is an option, as is a Performance Package.
The e-tron GT features a 93-kWh battery pack routing power to front and rear motors. They make a combined 469 horsepower that can be boosted to 522 horsepower in short bursts. With boost mode engaged, the e-tron GT can sprint from zero to 60 in just 3.9 seconds.
If you’d like quicker acceleration, Audi offers the RS e-tron GT, which is covered in a separate review. Just know that it has the same size battery, and so the added speed comes at the cost of driving range. Speaking of which, the e-tron GT has an electric range of 238 miles. The e-tron GT features DC fast charging that can bring the battery from 5 percent to 80 percent charge in under 23 minutes.
Standard driver assistance features on the e-tron GT include forward-collision avoidance, automatic emergency braking, traffic-sign recognition, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and traffic assist, which can detect traffic coming from the left and right in an intersection. Available safety tech includes self-park assist, a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree surround-view parking camera, and a traffic-jam assist that can follow a highway lane and stop and go with the flow of traffic.
Base MSRP for the 2023 Audi e-tron GT is $104,900 for the Premium Plus trim. The Prestige trim starts at $111,300. The battery pack comes with an eight-year/100,000-mile warranty.

The car is very easy to operate and intuitive. I think the car is the most beautiful four-door sedan ever made. The only drawback would be the range. The only other car that I considered was the Tesla S, but it was not intuitive to operate.
