About 2022 Maserati Quattroporte
Maserati is a brand with a rich history of refined driving engagement. The 2022 Quattroporte is its flagship sedan and is a shining example of both of these attributes. The Quattroporte has been offered on-and-off since 1963, though the modern interpretation arrived in the early 2000s. It was redesigned again for the 2014 model year and carries over with incremental changes through the years. For 2022, Maserati has simplified and revised its trim lineup. The Quattroporte is now available in GT, Modena, and Trofeo variants. The GT comes standard with leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, heated front seats, wireless device charging, and a 10-speaker Harman Kardon premium stereo system. It also comes standard with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Moving up to the Modena trim adds some unique styling elements, and it can be optioned with heated and ventilated rear seats, as well as a carbon fiber styling package. The Trofeo is highlighted by its red side ports, carbon fiber accents, and dark side skirts. The Quattroporte comes equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 that makes 345 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The Modena’s V6 has the same displacement, but with output raised to 424 horsepower and 428 pound-feet of torque. The Modena features a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 engine. It develops 580 horsepower and 530 pound-feet of torque. All engines route power through a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels. The Modena is available with all-wheel drive, noted by the “Q4” designation. Maserati calls the Quattroporte Trofeo the “fastest executive sedan in the world.” It sprints from zero to sixty in just 4.5 seconds and can hit a top speed of 203 mpg. The Quattroporte GT and Modena both return 16 mpg city, 25 highway, and 19 combined. The AWD version of the Modena returns 16 mpg city, 24 highway, and 19 combined. The Trofeo returns 13 city, 20 highway, and 16 combined. The 2022 Maserati Quattroporte GT starts at $98,400. The Modena starts at $108,200, and adding all-wheel drive brings the price to $112,700. The range-topping Trofeo starts at $145,900. The Quattroporte is backed by a four-year/50,000-mile powertrain warranty.
