About 2022 Cadillac CT4
Overview

The 2022 Cadillac CT4 is a compact executive sedan in its first generation, which debuted in 2019 for the 2020 model year. The CT4 and CT4-V replaced the Cadillac ATS and ATS-V. The CT4 series competes with cars like the BMW 3 Series, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and the Audi A4, while the CT4-V Blackwing, covered as a separate model, competes with the likes of the BMW M3.
The CT4 is a front-engined, rear-wheel drive (RWD) sedan, though buyers have the option to upgrade to all-wheel drive (AWD) on all engine configurations and trim levels for a $2,600 charge. The car is built on the same Alpha platform that underpins the Chevrolet Camaro.
2022 CT4s are powered by one of two four-cylinder engines. The CT4 gets an LSY 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder which is also found in the Cadillac CT5, XT5, and XT6, as well as in the Chevrolet Blazer, the GMC Acadia, and the Buick Envision. That engine develops 237 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The Premium Luxury trim makes available an L3B 2.7-liter turbocharged inline four, which provides 310 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque for an extra $3,900. The hotter CT4-V, meanwhile, also has a 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, but with a “dual-volute” passage to allow exhaust air into the turbine. It provides 325 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque.
The 2.0-liter engine pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the 2.7-liter—whether in the CT4 or the CT4-V—bumps the transmission up to 10 forward speeds. The engine choices are the same whether the buyer selects standard RWD or optional performance AWD.
For the 2022 model year, the CT4 is essentially a carryover model, with changes limited to three new extra-cost colors: Radiant Red Tintcoat, Argent Silver Metallic, and Midnight Steel Metallic. The CT4 is offered in seven colors, two of which (Summit White and Black Raven) are included at no extra charge, while the CT4-V has nine color options available.
The 2022 Cadillac CT4 is available in three trim options—Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport—or four if you look at the CT4-V as the top trim. Optional upgrades include a Cold Weather Package, which adds heated front seats and a heated steering wheel for $600 and a Sun and Sound package, which adds a power sunroof, navigation, and a Bose 14-speaker sound system for $2,450. Appearance packages include the Exterior Accent Package, which adds a rear spoiler, run-flat tires, and 19-inch wheels with a unique finish for $2,895 and the Radiant Package, which adds 19-inch run-flat tires, monochrome emblems, unique 19-inch wheels, and a bright grille for $3,450. The CT4-V’s unique options include Sueded Microfiber Wrapped Interior Trim ($550), a Climate Package with heated, ventilated, massaging front seats and a heated wheel ($1,200) a Technology Package with a cabin air atomizer, 12-inch display, and head-up display ($1,350), and a Navigation Package with navigation and a performance data and video recorder ($2,100). Standalone options for the CT4-V are largely cosmetic items like monochrome Cadillac emblems and a rear spoiler that are part of packages above, as well as mechanical options like an engine block heater and an automatic battery charger.
The 2022 Cadillac CT4 starts at $33,695 for the base Luxury trim. Moving up to Premium Luxury brings the price to $38,595, while Sport starts at $39,795. The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V starts at $45,895.

Very sharp looking car with a good warranty package. Drives very well in handling, needs a little more horsepower but its still nice acceleration.

Great handling and very responsive. Great value. Like it better than BMW M3. Luxurious interior and sporty exterior.
