The Audi A6 Allroad proves you don’t need a hulking SUV to own a versatile, capable luxury vehicle. The Allroad is an A6 wagon with a raised ride height, adjustable air suspension, and more aggressive body cladding. Inside, it’s just as luxurious as any car in the Audi lineup but is also as capable as an SUV in the automaker’s stable. The current generation of the A6 Allroad was introduced for the 2020 model year. It carries over largely unchanged, with the exception of a new standard tire pressure monitoring system for 2022.

Trims for the 2022 Audi A6 Allroad are Premium Plus and Prestige. The Premium Plus comes generously equipped with standard features such as leather upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, tri-zone climate control, wireless device charging, and a panoramic sunroof. It also comes with the Audi Virtual Cockpit (a fully digital instrument panel) and a dual-screen infotainment system with a 10.1-inch upper screen and 8.6-inch lower screen. The upper screen provides standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Moving up to the Prestige adds a number of driver-assistance features, as well as heated rear seats and ventilated front seats.

The A6 Allroad comes standard with a turbocharged V6 coupled with a 48-volt mild-hybrid setup. The system makes a combined 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent through a seven-speed automatic transmission to Audi’s venerable and capable Quattro all-wheel drive (AWD). As mentioned, the Allroad also has an adjustable air suspension. It absorbs all manner of bumps in the road and when Off-Road mode is engaged, it can raise the ride height by an additional 1.2 inches. According to EPA estimates, the 2022 A6 Allroad returns fuel economy of 21 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined.
