Why it stands out
The 2021 Honda Ridgeline distinguishes itself in the crowded midsize pickup market with its blend of stylish design, innovative features, and commendable driving dynamics. Fresh styling updates give the Ridgeline a more truck-like appearance, while still retaining its practical elements. Notably, it comes equipped with a robust 280-horsepower V6 engine combined with standard all-wheel drive, delivering smooth acceleration and handling that makes it enjoyable to drive on both highways and rugged terrains.
Interior comfort is another strong suit; the Ridgeline's spacious cabin includes generous storage solutions and high-quality materials. Owners appreciate features such as the innovative in-bed trunk, power locking dual-action tailgate, and the capability to manage everyday tasks with ease. While its towing capacity and off-road capabilities may be limited when compared to some rivals, it remains an appealing choice for those who prioritize on-road comfort and utility over rugged features. As noted in expert reviews, the Ridgeline's focus on user-friendly design and driveability makes it an ideal option for most pickup owners.

The ridgeline drives amazing as I expected, didn’t disappoint for a truck at all unlike the Tocoma which is way overrated and overpriced price.

This is a great design for someone who needs a truck but not a 1/2 ton pickup. I am very happy with the way it drives and the technology that is included. I haven’t towed anything with it yet but I am confident that it will do what I need. I bought the RTL model because it had leather interior and a Sirius radio. II guess the most direct comparison will be the Hyundai Santa Cruz or the Ford Marverick. However it is more capable in many woes over those two models.

2021 Ridgeline RTL-E - Loaded with great features and very comfortable to drive. Great visibility. Lots of cargo space. Drives like a big car. Great for winter driving with AWD. This is my second Ridgeline. Drove a 2013 for 10 years. Loved it. Loving this one too. Perfect for someone who wants a truck but doesnt need the size of something like a F250.
