The Toyota Avalon Hybrid is the gas-electric variant of the brand’s spacious, comfortable, full-size sedan. It combines a hybrid drivetrain with an upscale cabin and a long list of standard features. In addition to its generous front-and-rear seating, the Avalon Hybrid provides 16.09 cubic feet of cargo space, which is good for a sedan. The XLE, which has different wheel sizes, returns fuel economy of 43 city, 44 highway, 44 combined. The Avalon Hybrid comes standard with the Toyota Safety Sense suite of driver assistance features. This includes automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. Optional safety features include a head-up display, blind-spot monitoring, front-and-rear parking sensors, and rear cross-traffic braking. Base MSRP for the 2020 Toyota Avalon Hybrid is $37,000 for the XLE trim. The XSE trim starts at $39,500 and the Limited starts at $43,300.
