The MINI Cooper Clubman, last redesigned for 2016, gains powertrain and styling updates for 2020. The Clubman competes with the likes of the Honda Fit, Toyota Yaris, and Chevy Sonic. The features and options structure is complex, with each trim level offering the choice of Classic, Signature, and Iconic interior packages. Synthetic leather upholstery comes standard, and options include leather upholstery, front sport seats, and a panoramic sunroof. For 2020, the base Classic adds heated seats and LED lighting. New options for this year include a Frozen Blue interior combination and a Leather Chesterfield and Malt Brown upholstery option. The MINI Cooper Clubman’s standard features include a 6.5-inch display, Bluetooth, and a USB port. Options include an 8.8-inch touchscreen display, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, satellite radio, Apple CarPlay, navigation, and wireless-device charging. The MINI Cooper Clubman has not been evaluated by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The Clubman includes a reversing camera and rear parking sensors. For 2020, the Active Driving Assistant package, which includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, and speed-limit information, comes standard across the lineup. Options include front parking sensors, parallel park assist, and a head-up display (HUD). The MINI Clubman is an eye-catching alternative to other subcompact cars.
