For 2019, the Chevrolet Express Cargo gets a new engine. Competitors include the Nissan NV2500 and the Ram ProMaster.
Four engines are available with Express Cargo. The base 4.3-liter V6, which produces 276 horsepower and 298 lb-ft of torque, pairs to an electronically controlled 8-speed automatic transmission. New for 2019 is a 6.0-liter Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)/Liquified Propane Gas (LPG) capable V8 that produces 341 horsepower and 373 pound-feet of torque and pairs to a 6-speed automatic transmission. A 6.0-liter V8 Vortec engine cranks out 341 hp and 373 lb-ft of torque and a 2.8-liter Duramax turbo-diesel 4-cylinder that produces 181 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque are the final two options.
You have two choices in length when it comes to the Express Cargo. The regular wheelbase (RWB) is 135 inches long, while the extended wheelbase (EWB) is 155 inches long. You can also choose between two rear-axle ratios: the 2500 or the more rugged 3500.
For 2500 RWB versions, the maximum payload ranges from 2,801 pounds with the diesel engine to 3,323 pounds for the base V6 engine. For the extended-wheelbase versions, the maximum payload ranges from 2,558 pounds with the diesel engine to 3,090 pounds with the base V6. The maximum payload for 3500 RWB ranges from 3,753 pounds with the diesel engine to 4,282 pounds with the base V6 engine. The 3500 extended-wheelbase version has a maximum payload range of 3,828 pounds with the diesel engine to 4,066 with the base V6.
Drivers can customize the Express Cargo for their line of work thanks to available equipment packages that will fit the van with storage racks and cubbies. Cargo tie downs come standard with all trims, while ladder racks are an available option. Standard features include deep-tinted glass, an AM/FM stereo with MP3 player, rubberized vinyl floor coverings, air conditioning, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, a 120-volt power outlet, and 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot capability.
Available features include heavy-duty trailering equipment, an automatic locking rear differential, a removable roof rack, molded assist steps, a swing-out ladder rack, a full-body window package, heated mirrors, an infotainment system with navigation and a 5.5-inch color touchscreen, Bluetooth, rear air conditioning, a rear auxiliary heater, cloth upholstery, a 6-way power driver seat, cruise control, and remote start.
The Express Cargo has not been crash-tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) or the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Standard safety features include hill-start assist, electronic stability control, a reversing camera, and OnStar capabilities, while side blind-zone alert, lane-departure warning, forward-collision alert, and rear park assist are all available.

Awesome vehicle. Stable on the road. Easy to handle. Headlights are super powerful. Heat and air conditioning are powerful. Radio is amazing. Split mirrors are great. Love the van!

It had most of the features I wanted, I do wish it had cruise control and blue tooth, however it did have a V6 engine which will be good on fuel. It also has a good roof rack and some very nice shelves on the drivers side, kind of a bonus if I ever need them.
