The 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage, starting at $13,395, offers considerable value by delivering outstanding fuel efficiency with its standard 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty and 5-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. Noteworthy changes for 2018 include additional standard features for the base ES trim–a 7-inch touchscreen control for the audio system, Bluetooth connectivity, and a reversing camera. The SE and GT trims add a driver’s seat armrest. All Mirage trims come with the same 1.2-liter 3-cylinder engine that produces 78 horsepower and 74 pound-feet of torque. Yes, those are low power numbers, but they are offset by the fuel efficiency. Paired with the continuously variable transmission (CVT), standard on the SE and GT trims and an option on the base ES, the Mirage gets 37 mpg city, 43 highway, and 39 combined.
