Why it stands out
The 2015 Toyota Tundra distinguishes itself with its robust powertrain and reliable performance. Equipped with a 5.7-liter V8 engine that produces 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque, it excels in towing capacities, capable of hauling up to 9,800 pounds. This level of power, combined with the TRD Pro trim's off-road enhancements, makes the Tundra not only a workhorse but also a capable vehicle for adventure seekers. While some may find its fuel economy lacking, with averages around 14.5 mpg, the overall reliability and spacious interior make it appealing to a wide range of buyers. Additionally, the Tundra's design, particularly in the TRD Pro version, stands out with its bold aesthetics and robust features, making it a head-turner both on and off the road. Despite limited technological upgrades compared to its competitors, the Tundra delivers a strong performance that can meet various needs.

A basic model. Disappointed that the mileage is much worse than similar sized trucks & engines (Chevy, Ram, Ford). Toyota has much better reliability ratings than the US manufacturers.

I purchased this double cab Toyota tundra for almost 4000 less than book value. It is in good shape for 8 years old. My previous vehicle was the 05 model SR5. It was a Crew Cab and I wanted another same size but could only find 78” bed with the smaller Double Cab as opposed to the 5’-5.5’ bed the new Crew cabs come with. As it turns out, the Double cab is still sufficient leg room. I would prefer that this one came with side steps to help me get up into the cab since the new one is higher.
