This 2013 model is solid we’ve had it for 7 1/2 years going 8 in December and it’s been in 5 car accidents (front and rear ended) and shockingly it’s still solid and intact after being repaired the metal is not hollow and very solid , it’s saved our lives its small but has a very solid body, good gas mileage, even starts ups and goes right away in extreme temperatures, it’s not zippy or fun to drive like say a Honda Civic would be but it gets the job done, the trim we have it’s got touch screen and Bluetooth so u can listen to music. Hard to drive it up a steep hill doesn’t have the strength to do so I have to shift in d3 mode to get it to climb a steep hill. It is very compact which makes it easy to make a u-turn without backing up and it’s easy to park this Corolla compared to a full size sedan or SUV.

No road grip, and very light weight. During cruise at 80 Miles speed turning is disbalance. Aircon. is not powerful. Very good fuel consumption. Sound system is very powerful. I like heated side mirrors. Back seat not enough room for passenger.

OK, I had to go back and drive a 2013 just to see. Disappointed, but predictable. Less power and less economy that either my 2006 or the 2011 that I drove the day before. CVT Transmission is unacceptable, sure, you feel no shifting but so what? The new engines have a lesser "green rating", overpriced, for another $3000 I could have a Camry. The navigation system has to add to the cost, but if I get lost I have GPS on my phone, simply don't need it and it is standard not optional. I only clicked '5 stars' on maintenance cost because there are none, for Two years all scheduled maintenance is free (Well, included in the price is more accurate, Toyota calls it free but you pay when you buy the car.) 5 year 60,000 mile full warranty
