I bought this car to have something more family friendly than my Porsche Boxster S. The Boxster absolutely has better handling and is more fun to drive, but the 335i is FAR more practical and still preserves a bit of fun. Plus, the refinement and technological tools (HUD, music hard disk, etc.) is a clear step up from the "oversized go-cart" feeling of the Porsche. While it's under warranty, maintenance costs are obviously manageable. However post-warranty, I recommend getting to know a good private mechanic with a lower rate than the dealership.

Very nice drivers car, last of the real bimmers with a real engine, in line 6 helped with a turbo, to propel the car even at 100 miles/h , car shoots away and keeps accelerating ! Is as happy on the motorway as in stop go traffic, its adaptative cruise is fantastic, it stops and goes and follows car in front of you. Sport seats are amazing, adaptive suspension is a must, car drives more comfortable than a merc s class, but stiffens once speed, style gets sporty. Just a real drivers car that makes every commute a real fun moment !
