I own a 2 door Sport stick (my second wrangler) and use it for everything from commuting to trucking the family around to towing for work and play. Starting at the top of the good list is 4x4. I go through mud, climb rocks, tow and launch a bass boat in some difficult areas, and cruise the beach. It does exactly what the adds would have you expect. The soft top is great and easy to put up or down WITH some practice. Also the interior is made to get wet and dirty so getting caught in the elements isn't a problem, for the vehicle anyway. Its simple so no aggravating power windows or locks to break. Gas mileage for this type of vehicle is great IF you accelerate slowly and don't go too fast. On the highway it gets 25-26 mpg at 55 mph, 23 at 60, 21 at 65 and 19-20 at 70. Towing the boat only knocks off about 1 mpg. If you like working on or customizing cars, they make almost anything you can think of to attach to the Wrangler. Usually its very easy to work on. I installed a portable satellite radio in about 30 minutes and it looks like a pro did it because many interior pieces are removed easily with normal hand tools. Hill assist is also a big plus on inclines encountered. It holds the brakes for a second or two allowing you time to get to the accelerator without drifting backward. The engine lacks low end power. For example to pick-up my boat at most ramps I have to be in 4-Low. That's the tradeoff for good mpg I guess. The dash board is pretty cheap and lacks places to store much. Storage was partiallysolved by purchasing a new section of dashboard from Daystar. Comfort for family is lacking but improves greatly along with storage by getting the four door. Long rides are uncomfortable but not torture. The handling is what you should expect, it's no Ferrari on the road but then again a Ferrari is far worse off road. Traction control over reaches quite often but fortunately can be turned off. Probably the last thing is Soft top side panel storage. There's no place to conveniently store the panels on or in the vehicle. Overall you're getting a 4x4 convertible that is fun, tough, and can do anything you need it to. One last plus, the more dirty and dinged up it gets the better it looks.

Great option for anyone who wants a fun vehicle to get from point A to B. Even better for those who go camping often or love to explore the great outdoors. This is a great toy for adventure, and is also a reliable commuter.

I liked the color and the chrome trim...and it's got a lot of power and whatnot but it's not great on gas and it doesn't handle well in the wind. The inside noise at high speeds makes this not a great choice for long travel either.

We wanted a vehicle to on backroads. with. We looked a several different vehicles. This was the perfect choice. It took us everywhere we wanted to go. It got very good mileage and we have not had any problems with it.
