I bought this car in 2010 after reasearching all other alternatives. Even now, given the fuel economy, price, exterior and interior looks of the vehicle it still blows everything else out of the water. There are small downsides like hard seats and less sound deadening materials; but, it's not a luxury car. It does what it's built for. Build quality is excellent and so is the integrity of all the parts it's made of. I have had no costs associated with the replacement of parts that are not related to maintenance. Maintenance intervals are huge and cost much less than typical cars. The look and feel of the car has put it over the top for me. Compared to the only other hybrid that gets this kind of fuel economy (Prius and Prius C) this car provides the perfect amount of space for my family (Prius C does not) and the interior beats the Prius any day. The layout of the car is more conventional and you are connected to the drive components for that real car feel.

I truly love my car!!!!!!! Totally efficient on gas, comfortable interior spacing and it's Sleek design definitely turns heads!I!. Unfortunately, The Honda Insight doesn't come with extreme horsepower. But as a satisfied customer, The Honda Insight is a very dependable car and I highly recommend it to anyone in the market of purchasing a new vehicle!

I have been getting around 46mpg. in highway and city driving combined. The only thing I don't like is the view from rear view mirror.

I sometimes feel guilty (and sometimes smug) while driving up a steep incline and staying 'green' in the ECON mode. In the past, I wouldn't want to be behind a slower moving vehicle going up a hill - now it is me! Anymore now, I notice that it is not only me - but I know at 50+ mpg so far for vehicle lifetime - I can afford to be slow sometime. Cost of ownership so far has been fantastic - no hard add- on sells, strong record of reliability and low gas mileage costs - I look forward to owning this Insight for a long time.

I have loved this car and spend so little money on gas! With the seats down we can fit 2 bicycles and 2 suitcases! It is surprisingly roomy. Lots of pick up and so nice to drive a environmentally friendly car, quite and clean for the earth. Always driving around a gang of teenagers, I need a bigger car although I hate to part with this one!
