About 2008 Nissan Armada
Overview
Nissan does more than compact, fuel-efficient sedans and sports cars. It can compete with the best of U.S. overconsumption and fascination with all things huge. Its full-size monster SUV, the 2008 Nissan Armada, seats up to eight people in three rows. Offered in either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive with limited slip differential, the Armada comes in two trims -- SE and LE. Both are powered by a 317-hp, 5.6-liter V8 and 5-speed auto transmission with tow/haul mode.
Built on the Titan platform, the 2008 Armada gets some aggressive updates to its front grille and rear fascia as well as new headlamps and foglights. The LE now rides on 20-inch wheels, compared to the SE's 18-inch ones. The interior gets a locked glovebox, a new steering wheel, and wood accents in the LE. Also new is an optional power-folding third-row seat. All trims come well equipped with ABS brakes; dual front, side, and side curtain bags for each row; and traction and stability control. In terms of comfort and luxury, full power features, keyless entry, a 6-CD changer, power front seats, and rear climate control are all standard, while the LE adds leather upholstery, a rear-view camera, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, and satellite radio. A new navigation system provides traffic reports.
There are plenty of high-class options, such as Bluetooth, a heated steering wheel, and an upgraded Bose sound system. But the 2008 Armada is also a rugged hauler, towing over 9,000 pounds. An Off-Road package adds skid plates and all-terrain tires to take better advantage of the four-wheel drive. The interior is passenger friendly, with good legroom and headroom due to stadium seating.
Drivers say they feel safe and that the Armada feels sturdy behind the wheel. A smooth highway ride and the navigation system are big pluses. Other than the mid-teens fuel economy, negatives include the unwieldy size when maneuvering around the city.

This vehicle is a beast. Has tons of room and good get up and go. I would say mileage is its biggest downfall. Lots of room and ample leg room. The dash looks a lot better than years previously, which looked cheap.

Great truck. I traded in my 2005 Maxima for this truck and I love my new Armada even more. Although I lost my quick pick up speed that I had with the Maxima, the Armada has plenty of power and is fun to drive. Very smooth and I LOVE the room!!!!!!!!!

I feel safe and can live with the fuel trade off for all the positive safety features to make sure my family is as protected as possible. Weve had several large SUVs and this is as good as any weve owned
