After driving a first generation Nissan Murano, I was really hoping to acquire another one - however the next gen Murano was not yet available so I test drove the Ford Edge and really liked it. I then looked at the Lincoln, because I preferred the "look" of it and got mine in late 2008 - and have not regretted my decision at all. It is a very comfortable and roomy vehicle with excellent performance (for a CUV) from the 265 HP V6. The heated, and cooled seats, provide good support, although a little more lateral support would be nice. In almost 63000 km of driving I have had NO problems with this vehicle and have come to really enjoy all the amenities such as the Sirius radio, the navigation system and the panoramic roof. I would highly recommend this vehicle and, in fact, the next generation looks even better (for 2011) My one and only quibble about the MKX is the inability to select gears on the six speed automatic.

My personal favorite feature on this vehicle is the automatic opening and closing back hatch. Might seem strange but with my broken wrist it was a god send! I love the color, White Chocolate with cream leather interior, the HUGE sunroof and it's overall comfort. i was leary buying an American made vehicle at first but don't regret it at all. Ok...so the gas milage isn't the greatest but at least I can use regular fuel and not premium.

I like this car mostly for how it handles and how it looks. It has been very easy on maintenance. This car is very luxurious and comfortable. This car has made my family feel very safe, yet I enjoy driving it.

It's a Lincoln with a Duratec35 powerplant. I've owned the 2.5 v6 Duratec in a Contour, as well as a 3.0 in a Contour and a 2005 Escape. I love these engines, hi-redline and full of torque. Fortunately Steeda has some parts I can buy like a TB spacer, CAI, and an x3 tuner ($800 for all 3) they add over 35 WHP.. not bad.
