I have saved over a zillion dollars on gasoline using this vehicle. I average 36 miles per gallon around town and recently, as well as when I first purchased it, I get an average of 42 mile per gallon right now. That is going a speed of approx. 68 mph. Getting up around 73 mpg, you lose some gas mileage. It is the vehicle to drive for gas savings. The trunk is large enough for plenty of luggage if you don't have three kids or more. I have used it to transport two folding bicycles and they fit very good.
