Overview
Subaru's first seven-passenger car enters its second year with some styling and suspension revisions, plus a few new safety features. The 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca is an all-wheel drive crossover SUV that is four inches wider than the Outback, with a 3-inch longer wheelbase. This means that the standard two-row, five-passenger seating arrangement can be upgraded to three rows for seven passengers. The 2007 B9 Tribeca moves with a 3.0-liter, 245-hp H6 engine and 5-speed automatic transmission. Changes this year include an improved suspension and the addition of a standard rollover sensor and Brake Assist, which strengthens braking power when needed. Optional rear parking sensors and remote start are new this year as well. On the outside, the airplane fuselage grille is made black. A Special Edition package this year gives the Tribeca a chrome grille, 18-inch alloy wheels, and standard XM radio. Otherwise, both the 5 and 7-passenger vehicles come standard with ABS brakes, traction control, six airbags, power features, memory settings for the driver's seat, a sunroof, heated seats, keyless entry, and an MP3 player. They are also pre-wired for XM. A Limited trim features leather seats and an optional navigation system and rearview camera. The second row folds 40/20/40 and also moves back and forth to provide more legroom or cargo room as needed. The optional third row splits 50/50 and folds flat into the floor. Legroom is minimal, and this row is recommended only for small children. Owners of the 2007 B9 Tribeca love the AWD performance in bad weather and all the standard safety features. It received a 5-star front and side impact rating from the NHTSA. The SUV is also very comfortable and well laid out. Drawbacks include poor gas mileage, a bad navigation system, an underpowered V6 engine that is noisy when accelerating, and a clunky transmission.

I always wanted to own a Subaru. The way they look, their reputation, the off-the-beaten-path identity, all of it appealed to me. So I finally got one, and I was not disappointed. It is so solid and has such a smooth ride, I enjoy driving it any time. Everything about it is top-notch quality. I never worry about safety, because it has the highest crash-test ratings available. Plus, it has a unique look that says, "I'm a little bit different, and I don't mind."

I love Subarus. I have driven other cars and non so far can hold a candle to Subaru. The tribeca is awesome. Comfortable, so stylish, controls are so convenient, and the only thing it was missing, was me in the drivers seat. Now that’s taken care of! Lol

Love the unique trim of the front grill. Has most of the features one would expect from a high-end vehicle. Just wished it has DVD for all the regions of the USA knowing very well that the mere fact that a car is bought in one region doesn't mean it will not be used in other regions. Also lacks Bluetooth connectivity for a vehicle with almost all the bells and whistles that are installed.

Our first SUV/Crossover. Extremely happy so far, gas mileage is alright but not great. Performance is pretty good compared to some of the beasts we test drove. Could have a bit more power during acceleration but at 4400 pounds, what do you expect?? A little disappointed that there is no bluetooth connectivity but having the aux input for my ipod is a huge plus. We got the limited edition honeycomb grill and i think it adds a lot to the apperance of the car.
