About 2007 Nissan Frontier
Overview

The mid-size 2007 Nissan Frontier truck is a powerful and versatile hauler that seats four and is available in either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. There are four trim levels for the 2007 Frontier -- SE, LE, Nismo (the sportier, more off-road-oriented of the pack), and the XE. All come in either Crew or extended King Cab, except the XE, which is just a King Cab. The XE features a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder, 154-hp engine with either a 5-speed manual or automatic. All other
Frontiers come with a 4.0-liter, 261-hp V6 and a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic.
A new feature in the 2007 Frontier Crew Cabs is the option of getting the extended 6.1-foot bed that comes with King Cabs. Normally, the Crew Cab bed length is 5 feet. A new Appearance Package for the XE King Cab adds a snazzy chrome bumper and 16-inch steel wheels.
While the doors on the Crew Cabs open towards the front, like most vehicles, the King Cab rear doors are reverse-hinged, opening towards the back of the truck. They also do not open independently of the front doors. Though both types of the 2007 Frontier trucks can seat four, Crew Cabs only have a rear bench seat, while the seats in the King Cabs can flip up to provide more storage room. The bed can come with a bedliner and a Utili-track, which features storage compartments and trays, and even a bike rack. Heated leather seats are a much welcome option on LE Crew Cabs.
The power of the 2007 Frontier is always mentioned by owners, as is its sporty feel and suspension (which can feel rough to some). They also report a smooth transmission. The tie-downs and bedliners are recommended. Seats can be uncomfortable, the turning radius is pretty wide, and of course the fuel economy is not anything to brag about.

My Nissan Frontier gets great gas mileage. IT CAN TOW 6,500 LBS!!! It also has great acceleration. The braking makes an interesting sound when stomped on. It provides a smooth ride. It is very fun to drive and handles exceptionally well for a truck. I have not needed any maintenance other than oil changes. I was in an accident with this truck and it did great through the accident. No complaints!!!

Bought new in 2007 Nismo 2 Wheel drive without the Roof Rack. This has been an exceptional vehicle. No problems in 2.5 years and 32,000 miles.........NONE! Oil and Air Filters are the only maintenance done. Rides great, powerful, very good black paint.......I have owned MB cars, own a Lexus GS300, Infiniti's etc............bought this as a household utility vehicle and it is perfect! Even my "badge happy" wife likes to drive this truck......even asks me to borrow it and leave me the Lexus...I say NO.

Truck runs great!! Ample ++++ power. 6 speed manual is fun to drive - and it shifts like a sports car, not a truck. It is amazingly quiet at speed. Body is tight and quiet, seems very well built. Interior is functional, not fancy. Headlights are the ONLY complaint I have. They are weak. Other than that - I would highly recommend this truck.
