overall

The 2007 Honda Odyssey is popular for a good reason. It makes life easy in an enjoyable way that eludes other minivans.
Now in its third year since a complete redesign, the 2007 Honda Odyssey adds a standard tire pressure monitoring system and a telescopic feature for the tilt steering wheel. Otherwise, this excellent example of a minivan is unchanged, and it continues in LX, EX, EX-L, and Touring trim levels.

As vans go, this one is great. It seems to have the interior space of a big gas-guzzler like a Sequoia or Suburban, but with good fuel economy. Three of the six cylinders are deactivated when you are cruising at steady speed. Even at 80 mph, the "Eco" light comes on, telling you that you are doing it with three cylinders. It can jump out into the left lane and accelerate up a mountain pass when you need it to. No problems maintaining speed even at 9,000 ft altitude. Great for camping and ski trips. Great in snow if you put some snow tires on it. The twin power sliding doors were a novelty a few years ago, but they seem essential now. I put some WeatherTec mats in it, so I'm not worried about the carpet when hauling sloppy ski gear, plants from the nursery, or bikes. This is just a really solid car, no reliability issues and very few annoying ticks. I'm over 80,000 miles with little more than the usual preventative maintenance items, oil changes, brakes and tires. The struts were replaced around 75,000 miles and the power steering pump was serviced or replaced for free on a recall. OK, I'm itching to buy a really cool looking convertible, but this thing is just far too practical to give up in exchange for a little ego boost.

Overall an excellent family vehicle. Extremely user friendly, and convenient to use when you have two or more kids. Third row is a big plus. Maintenance is not very expensive but the MPG can be a little bit better. I love it for overall performance, looks, reliability.

Drove this van from Alaska to Florida and it never hiccupped. Minimal maintenance and only had to have recalls done to the vehicle. Getting ready to do the timing belt etc in the next year or so. It is the best car we've ever owned.

Love the Odyssey. Solid, easy to drive, predictable handling, minimal body roll, precise steering, excellent vehicle stability assist, love the mileage with the variable cylinder management, reliable as can be. Accessories and electrical equipment rarely have trouble. Even like how it looks. Have driven Caravans, T&C, Sedona. None compare well to the Odyssey. In a class by itself. Only complaint is that the leather in Hondas, doesn’t stand up well over time. Cracks, fades, and splits.
