About 2007 Dodge RAM 3500
Overview
As the most powerful hauler in the Ram pickup lineup, the heavy-duty 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 gets a stronger engine, more efficient powertrain, and a few new features this year. By far the biggest addition is a 6.7-liter, 350-hp Cummins turbodiesel I6 engine that replaces the 5.9, 325-hp turbodiesel. This new optional engine will be paired with a new 6-speed auto tran and starts arriving in late January of 2007. The 2007 Ram 3500 comes in Regular, Quad Cab, and the recently introduced Mega Cab, and already claims to be the leader in cabin room and its standard 5.7-liter, 345-hp V8 Hemi engine. All cabs come with either rear-wheel or 4-wheel drive, that's either manually or automatically engaged.
Short and long beds are available with the four-door Quad Cab. The Mega comes only with the smaller 6.3-foot bed and the Regular only with the longer 8-foot bed. The 2007 Ram 3500 also gets an exhaust brake this year, to help improve towing, braking, and stability performance. A remote start option is also available for all trims and cabs. What distinguishes the 2007 Ram 3500 from the 2500 is a firmer suspension and 3,000 more pounds of towing capacity -- up to 16,350 in all. It also has the option of either single or dual rear wheels. New in 2007 is a Ram 3500 Heavy Duty Chassis Cab, which is geared towards commercial use. It has a larger fuel tank (53 gallons), a more rigid and stronger frame, and even greater towing performance.
The 2007 Ram 3500 comes in ST, SLT, and Laramie trims. The ST has basic features, but does include a CD player. The SLT adds power accessories, keyless entry, and cruise control. The Laramie is decked out in leather seats and offers a 6-CD changer, power driver's seat, and dual-zone climate control. A DVD system is optional in Quad and Mega cabs. The Mega Cab is designed for maximum comfort, with best-in-class rear legroom and reclining seats in both rows. With the split-folding front and rear seats, cargo space is a whopping 71 cubic feet. This extra room, seat comfort, and increased engine power are all highlights for owners of the 2007 Ram Pickup 3500. There is little yet that people don't like about this latest model.

We love the towing ability and look of the truck. The engine brake is pretty neat as well. The quad cab is quite a bit smaller than the crew cab. This has been a great family truck and great for hauling anything. We have not had any problems what so ever. It is a pretty quiet ride.

This truck is crazy! For being such a big vehicle, the acceleration is amazing, great brakes, great handling, and amazing power. It hasnt needed one repair since purchase. IMO the style and look is great, and you can never go wrong with maroon paint. Also its fun to drive, wish i could drive it more often than i do
