This full sized vehicle excells at carrying people and all their luggage in serene comfort. Handling is clumsy/floaty, but DTS is about isolation and convenience, not engagement. Perfect for long trips, no amenity is lacking, dual climate control, autolamp, load leveling, sirius radio, heated/cooled seats, 6 passenger capacity, 6 airbags, sunroof, proximity alert for front and rear, and more. Leather aroma persists. HID headlamps shine far with sharp cutoff, and we love the remote start on hot or very cold days to deice or precool cabin. The gas mileage is consistently in the upper 20's, on regular fuel, and the trunk is enormous. Not so great, is low seating, and a reach to close doors, but seat height can be adjusted somewhat. Daytime guage reflections, tire whine and 3rd brake lamp can break if trunk slammed in cold weather are drawbacks.

The ride, the luxuary, the overall quality of the Cadillac DTS is absolutely wonderful. The Cadillac DTS preforms very well and handles very well for a large luxuary car. The luxuary ll package completes this car. Not to mention the fact that the DTS is absolute class

It tell YOU when to do everything. It's It won't run properly if you don't change the oil exactly on time. It also has to have synthetic everything including antifreeze which it likes to drink like martini's. You have to add at least monthly.

This is the best BIG car I have ever owned! I had a 300C but it's still a Chrysler. No American car rides like the DTS. It has an Americana elegance that only this car can bring. The BMW 7series is just as good. BUT... The Caddy rules the road. I am in my late 30's and yes some call it an old man's car. But on those 6 hour trips I arrive with a smile on my face.
