About 2006 Chevrolet Aveo
Overview

The 2006 Aveo will never be considered a luxury vehicle, but it does have some nice features for an inexpensive car. It feels much roomier on the inside than it looks from the outside, a perfect combination for city living.
In addition, the small size allows drivers to corner quickly and well. Because the car is so light, it feels like it has tremendous pick-up. Of course, in wet driving conditions it doesn't take much to send the little car hydroplaning.

I bought Chevrolet Aveo 2006, driven only 8 months, 15,000 miles. Four days after I bought it whole engine died!!! Yes, it's economic on fuel, but short-term car! Do not throw your money on that piece of s...! My advice: better pay a couple thousand more, than regret for waisting money and nerves on Chevrolet Aveo. It's not worth it. I learnt my lesson, don't make same mistake.

I love the size of this car for me and the gas mileage. I have had issues from the very beginning. Brand new off the lot; 4 months in the alternator died. Last year my coolant housing exploded, resulting in multiple repairs and parts replaced. This year my key has been getting stuck in ignition, sputters constantly, check engine light on all the time, hesitant to accelerate. Told by mechanic that the ECM needs to be replaced, but even then it wouldn't fix the problem. My advice to those who take care of their cars, look for something that is more reliable.

No power options, had tilt and a/c thats it. Great on gas, cool looking little car, fun to drive, wish it had cruise.

very reliable, great on gas. but weak in performance and just plain ugly. the standerd fetures are nice and include, A/C, CD with mp3 player hookup, 4 airbags, tilt wheel, and a few others. deffinatly suggest the 1.8, vs. the 1.6, the 1.8 is weak as it is, and i couldn;t imagine having even less power than i do now.
