acceleration is good, braking and handling are superb. built quality is German, so no question. appearance is sporty. gas mileage sucks, maintenance is fair. hell of a ride, real fun to drive especially on corners to test the laws of physics.

Great car with brilliant engine, probably the best engine ever built by BMW. Very solid vehicle with awesome styling and real easy to drive, it actually make the driver look good with the way it handles. To top it off it doesnt cost a cent to maintain for 4 Yrs/ 50k Miles, how can you beat that?

The BMW 3-Series has always been a benchmark for Compact Luxury Sports sedans. The newly redesigned 3-Series sedan (aka E90) is no exception. It's pure driving excitement that one must drive to fully understand. This is truly an "Ultimate Driving Machine." :)

Performance - sportscar acceleration with never-ending power band. Steering response is equally excellent. Braking is good, but fades a bit after long periods of spirited driving (which is to be expected). Handling is very good, but lacks a limited slip differential for balls-to-the-wall driving. The DTC is too invasive. Build Quality - commensurate with a BMW. Solid, with no issues. Appearance - definitely a sleeper. The only thing that differentiates this from the 320i's is the dual exhaust and the 330i badge, which means lots of people will mistake it for a 320i, and challenge it as such, with disastrous results. Cost of Ownership - definitely a gas guzzler, but my company pays for my fuel, so whatever :-) Fun Factor - Ummmm, this is a BMW.

My second 3 series car. Purchased as a CPO with 16K miles 4 years ago. Now has about 54K miles and has completely met my expectations. Get the premium and sport packages if you can; these make the car much more enjoyable and capable.
