Outstanding Automobile!! Never had a problem of any major nature. Using cruise I consistently got over 30mpg on the road on 87 octane gas and synthetic oil. Easy to drive, everything where you reach it, smooth quiet and comfortable.Rear passenger seat is like sitting in your favorite leather chair. Trunk space enormous.

If you are on the fence thinking about buying a used Avalon, just do it. I loved this car, it was trouble free (I bought it new, had it for 5 years) and I loved driving it. I have considered buying a used one as a second car just because I loved it so much.

It was going to be Lexus or Avalon. And after comparing year to year features the Avalon won. What stood out: the 05 & 10 Avalon body styles are the same. Not so with the Lexus. 05 to 05 the Avalon has more horse power, better MPG, dual, compared to single exhaust, more room inside, and larger dimensions on the outside. I purchased the car with 40,000 mi. on the odometer. And after 5,000 mi. around town, with limited freeway driving, I have averaged 22mpg.
