Best SUV I ever had. Best value, great reliability, very comfortable, great for towing too. The lowest cost/mile over all.

Great SUV. VERY comfortable and could tow a house if you could figure out how to attach it. I guess for the size, the mileage is not that bad... 13 town and 18 highway. It was better before I was forced to buy 10% Ethanol That seems to be the biggest joke on the American motorist ever perpetrated. Cuts the mileage by 10% also. This has made corn product go higher in the process. When are we going to go to hydrogen? Burn water! I have read articles on this car and they seem to find things wrong with it that I don't. I think a lot of the problems people have are from their own doing. Routine maintenance is big in my book. Most people do not pay attention as long as their car starts when they get in it. I usually get 180k-250k miles on my cars before I get rid of them and they still run and look good. This is not a sport car so I didn't expect high performance from it. It has no problem keeping up with traffic and I am happy. I think it is well built and good looking for what it is.

The Ford Expedition is a wonderful family car. It's cargo space is great for traveling, camping, and every day use. Our only dislike was the MPG. Now that gas prices have decreased, even that is a non-issue. Great family vehicle!

The Ford Expedition is a great family vehicle as it gives you loads of room for people (ours seats 7) and plenty of room for cargo. It is not great for fuel economy (12/16 mpg), but compares well to other vehicles in its class. If you need to tow, it has plenty of capacity at over 8k lbs. Ours is equipped with the 5.4l V8 and it 4WD. The only major repair expense I have had was with a faulty coil pack. That was around $450, but included replacing all spark plugs. This occurred at around 75k. Overall, I have had a great experience with Ford and would recommend to anyone.
