Amazing car to own! very fun to drive, easy to work/modify things on the car. Performance is ok for the daily but would like more power. amazing in the snow/offroad, never get stuck in another snow storm again!

The launch is amazing. Tons of power in such a light car. Can't wait to tune it more..The handling on this car is superior. Corners like it is on rails even at high speeds. 0-60 time is amazing.

The 2004 Impreza WRX is not a particularly slow car with its 225 standard horses. The Prodrive Performance Package (PPP) version makes it a much more desirable car. I am completely hooked. Prodrive modified the engine management and exhaust, boosting the output to 270hp. It's not an STI of course, but in the wagon it is a must. I tested several second hand cars with very low kms on the clock but they all shared the same problem: they were badly treated by their first owner. In the end, I found a good example. I agreed to buy it on Wednesday before a long week-end. On Monday, the seller contacted me to tell me he changed his mind and wouldn't sell the car after all. All I could do is tell him he was absolutely 100% right. This is a brilliant car.

When the go pedal is pushed and the external wastegate opens up, EVERYTHING disappears and tunnel vision begins at 4500 RPMS when the 18g hits 21 psi and I'm thrusted back into the seat. It's what makes a subaru, a subaru.

I just bought this car a little while ago on cars.com and drove it 1600 miles back from Boston via Canada. Since then I've driven it around town in a variety of road conditions. As a drummer, sedans and sports cars are generally impractical for me so I had resigned myself to many years of no driving pleasure whatsoever... The WRX wagon is fantastic. 227 turbo-charged horsepower in an all-wheel drive hatchback yields impressive acceleration, and handling. The four-wheel disc brakes complete this empowering package of exquisite balance. This car has no competition whatsoever in its class and year range. Top it off with saving $3,000 off the Minneapolis prices by buying in Boston and you've got one hell of a satisfied buyer.
