I have had this since brand new in Nov. 2004. I purchased first cause I love the looks and luxury of it. Second my grandfather and my father always seemed to have a love for Lincolns. I remember as a child my father telling me his dream car was either a Lincoln Town Car or a Jaguar XJ8. The performance is actually pretty awesome for an SUV but not enough for me. The build quality is actually much better than I anticipated and has had no major problems with having over 45,000 miles. I still love the way this SUV looks compared to everything else out there even by todays standards. I hate the new Navigator looks. The cost of ownership has only consisted of normal maintennace costs wish is probably no more than $500 up until this point. As far as fun to drive, not exciting but does make you feel comfortable and is nice to pull up to a valet in.

Ford used an aluminum hood and tailgate, the paint they used doesn't adhere well to the aluminum so thousands of Navigator/Aviator & F150 owners complain because the clear coat and paint are peeling off. Ford has been contacted about this and several law suits have been filed but to no avail has any fix been issued. That is my only negative aspect I have for an otherwise great SUV that is roomy and carries a lot of cargo.

Very nice car.Great car, air suspension issues at 100k mi remedied by strutmaster package. Easy to convert, corners like a porsche now, seriously.5 gallons per mile when you step on it, has some issues, just replaced all coils and plugs at 130k 4 & 8 are tough to get to but the rest are easy.

This vehicle is nice looking, has great features, and rides smooth. With about 106,000 miles, it's running like a top. Everybody loves the truck. This thing is loaded with 4wd, navigation, sunroof, rear tv/DVD player, heated/ac seats, and much more. The gas is bad, though. Its not as contort able as say a Chevy Tahoe, or Cadillac Escalade, but it has all the room, features, and seats. The power liftgate and power third row is excellent. That is a huge bonus. We have piled many many boxes in the truck with the seats down, and they fit right in. Hids make it easier to see at night, and plus, they look awesome. This truck is a thumbs up!
