Overview

The 2004 model year was the last for the long-standing Seville name plate. Its replacement, simply badged the STS, would appear midway through 2004. The popular STS trim was absent from the 2004 Seville lineup, allegedly to build enthusiasm for the midsize luxury sedan's more athletic replacement. The luxury-oriented SLS trim was the only trim offering for this year, equipped with new features like an eight-speaker Bose stereo with Cadillac's TheftLock security system.
Throughout its fifth generation, which ran from 1998 to 2004, the Seville earned steady accolades for smooth and ample power delivery, a comprehensive list of desirable luxury features, and overall vehicle safety. Unfortunately, the discontinuation of the sporty STS leaves shoppers without a performance-focused Seville option, as the SLS prioritizes luxury and comfort over driving thrills. The Seville's performance is also hurt by its front-wheel-drive layout and antiquated transmission.
The Seville's only engine is a 4.5-liter Northstar V-8, generating 275 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. A four-speed automatic is the only transmission option. Cadillac's CVRSS automatically variable suspension protects passengers from rougher road surfaces and also maintains stability during more aggressive driving. Fuel economy is reasonable for a Cadillac, estimated at 18/26 mpg.
The Seville's interior is complemented by inviting leather bucket seats and Zebrano wood accents. Standard equipment includes full power accessories, heated mirrors, cruise control, a Bose sound system, the OnStar communications system, and XM radio.

This car is amazing!! It is really a driver oriented car. It has everything!! It has heated memory seats, "Rain Sense" windshield wipers, an electronic compass, heated outside mirrors, and even a button on the keyless entry for the gas tank.
