Proteges are badass, what can I say. Handling is great, amazing steering feel, could use more power-ok with manual, gas mileage is great, very reliable. overall, a fun and sensible car to own. would definitely buy it all over again.

Interior is beautiful, car is super reliable, styling is very nice. Engine has a lot of torque at any rpm (including low), which makes it a better engine than the already great 1.8 l4 of the previous generations.No rust problem, NOTHING on it broke in over 6 years owning it, with the exception of a stupid anti-pollution device, the egr valve.

Like the low cost to maintain, visibility, sport style, acceleration, fits 5 comfortably, has ample cargo room, reliable engine, moon roof, good sound system. Has overdrive. Breaks really well. Little bit noisy on the freeway, the seats can be more comfortable.

This car is a blast to drive! truly a perfect daily driver for anyone on a budget. The car is sporty too as it comes from the factory with a sporty stance. The car really can move if you give it gas. All shifts are smooth as well, anyone can drive this car it is super easy to drive.
