I absolutely love this car. Bought it with 32000 miles on it and it now has over 100000 with a few minor repairs. Gets almost 30 mpg on highway and 25 city. Lots of power and a beautiful car. Once you've had a Cadillac......you will never want anything else!

This car can really get up and go especially on the highway. City driving its a smooth and quiet. However granted that i don't have a lead foot, but if you needed the extra horses they are there. The style you can't argue against for it being a luxury vehicle.

When I left Expedia.com, I took about 6 months off. Rachel and I were doing a road trip of the western United States, and we wanted a comfortable road trip car... the ETC filled the need perfectly, but I sold it when we were done traveling. It was comfortable and fast, but too big and cumbersome for city driving. The Northstar engine is the high point of this vehicle-- it was reliable, powerful, and quiet. Gas mileage and maneuverability were the low points. (You don't "drive" this car, as much as "captain" it.)

This car looks and rides great. It is a bit louder/noisier than I remember the caddi's of the 70's to be. I love the power of that North star! If you are a do-it-yourself type with moderate to good mechanic skills, then, you will need lots of time! If you are not, you will need lots of money. There is much dead/unused space in the engine compartment - I don't understand why GM decided to cram the engine in. Poor on gas unless you are an open road driver.

Love the car, it's the perfect blend of performance and class. The El do always seems at home at any venue, weather your going out on the town for the night, taking a long trip for the week end or just going to get a bite to eat. I wouldn't change a thing about the car.
