It is the cheapest way to have a 230hp/350NM car that carries the family safely, can carry some luggage, resonable to insure, 9l/100km on an average. Hard to beat. The value of my 2000 9-5 Aero estate is approx 30 000 SEK.

I love 9-5s. Easy to tune and has the usual Saab individuality. My Aero was tuned to 280bHp with a simple Engine ECU mod. The turbo spooling noise along was worth it. It's extremely comfortable on long trips. I always feel relaxing when crusing in it yet it can get your pulse racing when you push it.

in standard form it is fast, but if you get an ecu upgrade it is even better. mid range acceleration is mind blowing as the 2.3 turbo engine is a real beast when you want power from it. add a spoiler to finish off the looks of the back end and add a stiffer suspension kit and you have a really nice car if you like positive handling on twisty roads.

Lots of torque. Too much torque steer. a bit of a handful in the wet. loads of interior room. very comfy. poor manual transmission feel. expensive to fix. difficult to DIY repair. expensive to modify. heavy car with slow handling
