The Taurus has been in production since the 1980's and is a very solid and reliable vehicle. The engine has not changed much since the first-generation Taurus, and the option of a 200hp DOHC V6 is available as an upgrade for the stock 155hp OHV V6. The transmission is a 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The SE edition of both the sedan and wagon have 16" aluminium rims and 4 wheel anti-lock disc brakes. On the inside, a 6 speaker Mach audio system come standard and a 6 CD changer is available. There are also 2 12 Volt cigarette lighter/power outlets for other accessories. It also comes standard with cruise control, power windows, locks, power 8-way adjustable driver’s seat, limited slip differential, and other features commonly seen with other vehicles in its class.

this car is very roomy and good for any parent who has alot to juggle or does alot of driving every week. It has a big backside though and alot of blind spots, but the steering is tight and it has great acceleration.

all in all a decent car, nothing special about it. Good amount of cargo space, but the rear hatch could definately stand to be bigger and the cargo space should be a bit wider.

This is my wagon.BlueThunder 2000 Taurus wagon SEL Full comfort package exc. moon roof 3.0 Duratech 16.01s 1/4 mile @ 90.65mph last year at Shannon ville motor speedway in Ontario.That is why I love it :) Since I've had I have only replaced the breaks,thermostat,oil and filter.I've replaced the right inner and outer tierod. I am going to do some body work soon to bring the shine back to it.

OH I LOVE MY CAR!!!! Its so amazing!!!!! It means the world to me it might not be a Mustang Challanger or a Camaro but it is a really awsomoe car cause it is paid for! and I drive it!
