I guess automotive engineers and designers sometimes feel the need to add where nothing was lacking, or at least to add what was not lacking. A few unusual features, some bizarre, some frustrating, of this car: 1) Locking the driver's door from inside, locks all doors. I understand this feature, but it gets in the way far more often than it benefits me. 2) Unlocking passenger door with the key unlocks all doors. This one works for me. 3) Engaging the child-safety lock, on power windows, locks out driver's window controls! This is nothing short of a stupid mistake. E.g., if the 4 year old in the back starts to open her window, the driver can lock out her control, but cannot close the window. I.e. as long as 4yo's finger is on her button, or child-safety is engaged, driver cannot close the window. 4) Driver's seat-bottom has 2 segments, which are each tilted/raised/lowered via knobs. I've not found that I can really get tailored comfort out of this, but one can change, or move pressure points, which can be nice on long trips. 5) There's a red LED forever blinking on the dash, to let me know that didn't follow some security procedure before disconnecting the battery. This is to prevent me from stealing my radio. Here's the thing, the "alarm" (the LED) is in my car. If someone does steal my radio, I'll know it by the missing radio. As for the stolen radio: it still works. As long as the thief doesn't hook up the light, he'll be fine. Of course, he won't know it if someone steals his (my) radio. :) Back seats fold down, but pass-through from trunk is narrow and short enough to make me long for my old hatchbacks.

Well this is a great car i have only had a few problems since i've had it but they were all fixed really quickly. for example the trunk latch was broken and had to be replaced. Also i have had to replace the timing belt and get the air conditioner fixed, but overall it is a really good car. It does seem to slide around on the ice a bit and can have a hard time getting out of the snow. Finally it has excellent gas mileage.
