This is not a 'real' sports car, compared to my TR4A. Rather it is a superbly comfortable, fast, powerful Grand Touring Car, suitable for long distance driving on Autobahns or motorways. This is one of the earliest models, from the first year in production.

Its a one class act in automobile production! it has the style, look, and design that never gets old. Awesome car. Only one thing missing - A 6spd manual transmission. For that would be the ultimate ride.

We purchased this 97 XK8 coupe in 2004. At that time the car had around 25000 miles. Currently we have 55000 mile, but we have added the likes of an original paint job, new leather front seats, new OEM engine, rebuilt suspension, wheel bearings brakes, wheels repainted, power steering pump, water pump housing and the list of " this and that" goes on. The repairs all add up to an expensive proposition, but I still think the car is worth it.
