Overview

There is not much consumer information available for the 1996 Honda del Sol. In Honda tradition, user opinion of this car points out good gas mileage, a huge trunk, and nice looking design.
Drivers of this car also cited a small rear window, faulty seatbelts, and although comfortable inside, a bit rough going over bumps. There was minimal design change from the previous year, and eventually the del Sol was discontinued after the 1997 season.
I would say it is a good fix-up car you can get for about $700 or less.

I'd buy it again .... I got rid of it beacuse of no cruise control and no air conditioning. What a mistake that was. It was a great little car (for two - or 1)

I love del sols but I did not like the VTEC model. The del sols are gorgeous to me but my 1996 sol was really ruined by the previous owner, paint wise, which is why I no longer wanted her.
