My 1996 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup was a good reliable truck. The performance was mediocre, but I can't expect much from a 4-cylinder motor. The gas mileage was less than desirable at 19-20 mpg. A 4.3 L V-6 would have been a better choice for a power plant. However, it was nice to have a pickup to haul things around.

I love my truck. She has never let me down. Has a 4.6 motor in it. Still very motor and transmission. Just got the truck repainted and a tune up. Drives smooth. Doesn't leak any fluids. Just fun to drive

It's an excellent vehicle. It has some acceleration issues, but it has great fuel economy. My truck has half-ton weight springs and slightly oversized tires. It pulls better than any other light duty truck I've driven. I put 60000 miles on my truck after I cracked the heads. It's just a beast.
