Strong, sturdy, durable -- words many owners use to describe their Dodge Caravans. Now up to four million sold, Chrysler celebrated its 10th year of the minivan with an anniversary edition of its Dodge Caravan SE models, marked by a two-tone exterior.

The 1994 Dodge Caravan packed more power as well. In addition to the standard 2.2-liter four-cylinder (100 hp), optional 3.0-liter (142 hp) and 3.3-liter (162 hp) V6 engines, Chrysler added an optional 3.8-liter V6 that shared a 162-hp rating, but was torqier than the 3.3-liter and coupled with its infamous Ultradrive. Antilock brakes were standard on all but the base models, and AWD was optional on loaded SE or higher trim levels on both the Grand Caravan and the regular Caravan.

Other new perks included dual front airbags, keyless entry, reclining seats, side impact protection, and reshaped molding and bumpers. The dashboard saw a minor redesign due to the inclusion of the airbags.
