If you get the V6 for the Topaz, you might actually forget what you're driving and enjoy yourself for a moment or two. If you get the 2.3 Liter four-cyl, you will hate yourself forever. I only the good times I had in that Topaz with my best friend and I have no love for the car itself.

I've got a '93 Topaz LS with the V6 engine. I've had NO PROBLEMS with it and it does whatever I tell it to. It has great pick-up and I rather enjoy passing people on the highway!! Haaaa! I've seen some bad reviews for these cars, and all I have to say is THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DON'T TAKE CARE OF YOUR CAR - IT'S NOT THE CAR, IT'S THE DRIVER!!!

The Topaz is the first car I've owned. And aside from needing to replace the head gasket after I bought it, it runs pretty good. There will be modifications made soon...I will be giving it a custom paint job, replacing the rear suspension, seeing as though it shot, and straight piping the exhaust. It runs a little slow and leaks oil, so I'll also be overhauling the engine.
