OK this was my 1st car i purchased for $1000. It was a good purchase i think. The car was a boat and it had some cool stuff for being a 1991 - powered windows and seats, digital dash board, plush interior. Only thing this car was missing was a sunroof.

V6...not too bad..its got more guts than any honda, nissan or other crappy foreign car..and its comfortable and in perfect condition

This car is great for stingy grandparents or demo derby drivers. It's performance on tar isn't anything special, has fairly good reverse acceleration in dirt. Brakes lock up pretty easily. Handles like a typical fwd compact (I guess it's "midsize" b/c it has a 6 cylinder), but is a bit more prone to understeer than most. Chrysler threw a bunch of cheap chrome, fake wood paneling, and a vinyl roof on their Dynasty in order to call it a New Yorker. Styled on a budget, I guess. Gets about 20 mpg, so your better off buying something bigger, or something that is actually good on gas. I bought the car for demo derbying, and spent little to none on mechanical repairs. Holds together very well during collisions, front end is very tough. Running belt is prone to snap after minor abuse. Car is fun to drive in dirt and in derbies. Bit of a dog on the asphalt.

POS.... the only good thing is that i have to fill it up with gas only once a week it has horrible rear end suspesion and a nice interior and a huge backseat but cant fit more than 2 people in there because of the rear suspension
